Regional solutions for polluted stormwater

King County Department of Natural Resources & Parks

Polluted stormwater – runoff that occurs during rainfall – is one of the greatest threats to water quality today in King County, pushing toxics directly into rivers, lakes, and Puget Sound. King County Executive Dow Constantine’s Clean Water Healthy Habitat Initiative is designed to unify efforts throughout the watershed to produce better results faster for people, salmon, and orcas.
