Amid protests over the Dakota Access and Keystone XL pipelines, an even larger pipeline is quietly moving toward construction north of the border. I researched and edited this explainer — a history of the Transmountain pipeline and its current controversy — to create an evergreen video that could be republished with our partners' on-going news coverage of the pipeline. It was first published with another reporter's radio and written package. The video was awarded an Emmy (Pacific Northwest) for explanatory coverage.
